Once your manuscript has been submitted to the journal, you can track its progress by viewing your submission in the Submissions Being Processed list.
Log into the EES site for the journal that you submitted your manuscript to. The address of the EES site will be listed in the confirmation email you received when you completed submission of your manuscript. If you do not have this and need to locate the journal's EES site, you can view Elsevier journals alphabetically
, by editor
or by subject

Once you have logged in, click; 'Submissions Being Processed'
or 'Revisions Being Processed'
for a revised paper (see Fig. 1). The status of your submission is indicated under Current Status. For more information on the different statuses of papers in EES, please Click Here

Further questions regarding the status of your manuscript may be directed to the journal Editorial Office. There is a Send Email link in the Action column of your manuscript that you can use to send an email to the journal office (see Fig. 2):
Click; 'Send Email' to open an email template addressed to the Editorial Office.
You can customize the email. Please note: Any text bounded by % signs is a 'merge field' which will be populated with the appropriate information when the letter is sent.
Click; 'Preview and Send' to view your email, then click; 'Cancel' to make any changes.
Click; 'Send Email' to send the message to the journal.
If the Send Email link is not available to you, the contact details of the Editorial Office of the journal are also present in the Editorial Board page of the journal homepage.
